Middletown's signature venue has earned its reputation as the "gem of Middletown" for good reason. Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill is a Beaux Arts-style estate built at the turn of the century, framed by formal landscaping and 103 acres of wooded parkland. Colonel Clarence Wadsworth built the property with the guidance of the Olmsted Brothers landscape firm, and it's been hosting weddings since 2000 — with a strict one-event-per-day policy that gives every couple full, exclusive use of the grounds.
Just minutes away, The Barns at Wesleyan Hills offers a genuinely different feel — bare wood walls, exposed beams, and a mezzanine that give it real rustic character, with an on-site team that handles much of the event coordination directly. Pavilion on Crystal Lake rounds out the local venue landscape with a lakefront barn setting for couples who want water views without leaving Middletown.
We've worked all three venues enough to know their individual quirks — Wadsworth's connected two-ballroom layout and outdoor tennis-pavilion ceremony space, the Barns' acoustic character, and Crystal Lake's waterfront setup — and we plan for each specifically.
