Jacob's Pillow at 358 George Carter Road in Becket is unlike any other wedding venue in western Massachusetts — or, frankly, in New England. A 163-acre National Historic Landmark and recipient of the National Medal of Arts, the Pillow is home to America's longest-running international dance festival and one of the most celebrated performing arts campuses in the world. The New York Times has called it "the dance center of the nation." Couples who hold their wedding here connect their special day to a place with genuine cultural weight and singular Berkshire beauty.
The campus offers multiple distinct event spaces for weddings: the Henry J. Leir Stage, a scenic outdoor stage with wooden bench seating for up to 400 guests — ideal for ceremonies; the Perles Family Studio, with soaring ceilings, warm wooden details, and a dance floor for up to 190 guests; the Doris Duke Theatre stage and lobbies for receptions up to 220 guests; and the Tea Garden and Bakalar Studio, a refurbished New England barn with adjoining lawn for intimate celebrations up to 80. Packages combine spaces based on your guest count and vision, with the full 163-acre campus exclusively yours for the event.
Jacob's Pillow is available for weddings September through mid-May — outside its summer festival season — with fall foliage weekends being particularly sought after. It is a site-only venue: all catering, rentals, and furniture are provided by outside vendors of your choice. For DJ pricing and availability, reach out directly. We travel throughout Berkshire County and know what multi-space outdoor events like Jacob's Pillow require.
