Farmington Gardens at 999 Farmington Avenue started life as Lexington Gardens, a beloved flower shop that served the Farmington Valley for decades. The full 2011–2012 renovation converted the property into one of Connecticut's most distinctive wedding venues — a fully restored barn with its original silo, ivy-covered stone walls, a white gazebo, a fish pond, and roughly six acres of manicured lawns and gardens framed by rolling fields.
The layout is what makes it special for a wedding: outdoor ceremony options at the pergola, the grand oak tree, the water feature, or the circular patio; cocktail hour in the all-glass greenhouse; then the New England Grand Ballroom for up to 340 guests, with exposed wood beams and wrought iron chandeliers overhead. Because the family-owned venue hosts only one major event per day, you get the entire property to yourselves.
Three distinct spaces means three distinct audio environments — open lawn, a glass room, and a big timber-frame ballroom. That's exactly the kind of technical day we're built for.
