How We Set Up for Each La Notte Space

La Notte's different spaces each have their own acoustic character. Here's how we configure for each one.

The Grand Ballroom

Marble floors and high ceilings create a live acoustic environment — sound carries well but can become muddy without careful speaker placement and EQ. We calibrate specifically for the room's reflective surfaces so the mix stays clear at every table. The chandelier aesthetic calls for uplighting that complements rather than competes.

The Intimate Ballroom

La Notte's smaller ballroom has a fireplace setting and a warmer, more personal feel — typically used for smaller guest counts or as a secondary space. We scale the audio configuration to the room so it sounds full without overwhelming the space.

The Grand Tent

The 80'×40' tent — surrounded by tiered patios and gardens — is available May through October. Tented spaces absorb sound differently from hard-walled rooms: we configure speakers to cover the full footprint evenly, account for the open patio areas, and plan lighting that works in the transition from daylight to evening.

Outdoor Pergola Ceremony

La Notte's pergola ceremony site — set against a lush tree line with a cascading waterfall feature — is one of the most photographed spots at the venue. The waterfall adds ambient sound, so mic placement and gain settings are dialed carefully. We bring directional mics and windscreens and assess the setup before guests arrive.
